Overall Role Objective

The Contracts Control Administrator provides administrative and accounts support to project teams, quantity surveyors and other departments, while providing neat and orderly client records.

Key Responsibilities/Duties

  • Raise Sales Invoices/Credit Notes.
  • Issue monthly Debtor’s Statement of accounts.
  • Issue Project Closeout reports.
  • Issue Project Contribution Spreadsheet for Cost & Sales Monthly.
  • Quantity Surveyor, Project Manager and Foreman monthly spreadsheet
  • Distribute new project files to Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers and Foremen.
  • Liaise closely Quantity Surveyors to ensure correct project information is being reported.
  • Order Department Stationery Supplies, including Daywork books on a monthly basis.
  • Filing and general office duties.
  • Any other reasonable and relevant duties as requested by your Manager, necessary to meet the ongoing needs of the company.

Qualifications / Skills

  • Min two years’ experience in an administrative role.
  • Previous relevant industry experience would be an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail essential.
  • The ability to work without supervision and to also be a team player.

  • Customer service skills.

EHS Regional Manager

Overall Role Objective

The Regional EHS Manager is responsible for leading a team of Health & Safety Professionals across a portfolio of Suir Projects and is responsible for ensuring, as far as reasonably practicable, the health, safety and welfare of all Suir employees and subcontractors by effective implementation of risk mitigation tools, communication and active management of company policy and procedure.

Key Responsibilities/Duties

  • Assist the EHS Manager in achieving Suir’s Critical Success Factor 1. ‘To ensure we are fully compliant in all Health, Safety & Workplace Legislation’
  • Meet and deliver all objectives set and agreed in your Performance and Development Review.

  • Ensure all new sites are adequately set up prior to mobilisation by ensuring a Site-Specific Construction EHS Plans are in place, permit process is agreed and understood etc.
  • Responsible for effective training of all Health & Safety Professionals under your area of responsibility to a standard required by the company.
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in all of Suir’s Hight Risk Activities (HRA’s) and ensure that they are identified and effectively controlled on every site.
  • Become familiar with and promote the ‘Suir Way’ and its interfaces with Health & Safety.
  • Ensure effective use of Flex on all sites in your area of responsibility.
  • Ensure team members are logging their allocation of hours in GaneTime.
  • Ensure the ISO Integrated Management System in effectively rolled out on all site under your area of responsibility.
  • Participate in Change Management when required.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of the sites.
  • Report and Investigate incidents when they occur and ensure root causes are identified, mitigated and communicated.
  • Report to EHS Manager on the performance of the IMS.
  • Work with PPE providers to ensure the most suitable and cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications / Skills

  • Relevant Health and Safety Degree.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in Environmental Health and Safety role.
  • Experience in construction would be an advantage.

Overall Role Objective

High Voltage Installation supervisor and Commissioner is responsible for supervision of HV installation specialist team and verification/testing of all aspects of High Voltage substations and cable systems.

Key Responsibilities/Duties

  • Completion of all safety requirements including compiling Risk Assessments and Method Statements and on site risk assessments.
  • Coordinate, plan, and deliver HV installation and commissioning projects
  • Supervision and guidance of HV specialist installation team.
  • Completion of Primary tests on Instrument transformers, Power Transformers and HV switchgear.
  • In-depth knowledge of testing of HV apparatus using Omicron test kits such as Omicron CPC100, Omicron CT analyser etc
  • Functional verification of protection schemes.
  • Commissioning and functional verification of DC Battery systems including battery discharge testing
  • Testing of protection relays using Omicron test equipment and Test Universe Software.
  • Configuration of IEDs across a range of vendors such as Siemens, Schneider and ABB.
  • Operational switching of HV apparatus.
  • Pre-commissioning of ESB Substations.
  • Attendance at FATs for HV switchgear, transformers and protection cabinets.
  • Early engagement with project team to optimise design and minimise installation defects.
  • Assist bid team with technical aspects of tendering.
  • Technical evaluation of HV apparatus at submittal stage.
  • Technical report writing
  • Guide and mentor junior staff in their technical development

Qualifications / Skills

  • Time served electrician or Electrical Technicial/ Engineer
  • Safe pass
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Familiarity with some or all aspects of HV substations from 10kV to 220kV
  • Have in depth knowledge of HV and MV switchgear across multiple vendor platforms
  • Computer literate – Microsoft packages etc

Desirable

  • Familiarity with ESBN “ Conditions governing connections to the Distribution System”
  • Familiarity with ESBN Pre-commissioning standards
  • Comfortable with Omicron Primary test equipment used for testing instrument transformers and power transformers
  • Familiar with protection relay test techniques and Omicron Test Universe
  • Experienced with relay configuration tools such as Siemens Digsi, ABB PCM, Schneider Agile,

Responsibilities
