Senior Health & Safety Advisor – Cork Region

We currently have an immediate vacancy for a fixed term Health & Safety Advisor based in the Cork Region, reporting to the Regional Environmental Health & Safety Manager.

The overall responsibility of the role is to provide advice on all aspects of environment, health and safety.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Assisting, supporting and advising sites teams on implementation of the EHS management system.
  • Delivering on continual improvement on existing ISO, 9001, 14001 and 45001 Integrated Management System.
  • Supporting the site team in achieving and maintaining compliance with legal and Corporate EHS requirements.
  • Updating and maintaining site EHS procedures.
  • Assisting, supporting and advising on the industrial hygiene and occupational health program requirements.
  • Liaising with the Occupational Health Service Provider on Occupational the Health Program for the site.
  • Assisting in the preparation for and participation in external audits.
  • Participation in carrying out Internal EHS Audits within the facilities.
  • Tracking and reporting of audit actions closure on internal and external audit points.

Qualifications / Experience

Essential:

  • A higher Diploma or relevant degree.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ Health & Safety experience working in a Pharmaceutical or Construction environment.
  • A working knowledge and experience in ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.

Salary:  Subject to Experience.

Due to a recent expansion in our workload, Suir require a number of graduate safety advisors.

The above roles will be part of a larger Safety team on multi-million Euro blue chip sites, based in the greater Dublin region. Full mentoring will be provided by the senior Suir EHS team on site.

Document Controller

We are currently looking to hire a Document Controller to work in the Dublin region. Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 4. 30pm and Friday 8.00am to 3.30pm.  This is a salary paid position.

Overall Role Objective

The Document Controller / Site Administrator is responsible for processing, logging, distributing and filing all site-based documentation and drawings and ensuring all site administration work is completed.

Key Responsibilities / Duties

  • Manage and coordinate all documentation and drawings with the project team.
  • Use ACONEX and EIDA (Construction Management Software) for the management of documentation and ensure both align.
  • Manage Project Folder on SharePoint and ensure alignment with Aconex and EIDA.
  • Print, log and file drawings and plans.
  • Assist in the preparation of Operation & Maintenance manuals.
  • Ensure the various prints of drawings, schedules and specifications are kept up to date and maintained for record purposes as described in the document control section of QA procedures.
  • Prepare weekly time sheets for all site labour for Payroll processing.
  • Organise site inductions for all new hires.
  • Prepare purchase orders for site materials.
  • Organise courier deliveries.
  • Organise all site paperwork.
  • General administration and office-based duties.
  • Any other reasonable and relevant duties as requested by your Manager, necessary to meet the ongoing needs of the company.

Qualifications / Skills

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in Documentation Control.
  • Administration experience essential.
  • Experience in the construction industry is an advantage but not essential.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate with Clients and Management.
  • Capable of multitasking and meeting deadlines.
  • IT Skills – A high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, plus proficient in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. Experience in ACONEX and EIDA would be an advantage.
