Having conducted weekly quality walks between Suir and site CMT and emphasis placed on first of kinds approved prior to installation, Suir were able to identify, control and reduce common snags at an early stage in the project.
Tool box talks were conducted with the site team to emphasise the difference between unacceptable poor workmanship and unavoidable snags.
A points system was introduced on the project by Suir to reward an individual on completion of an installation with zero snags recorded.
This has given rise to a snag free culture within Suir’s team on Project Lion- MSD Brinny, helping to achieve mechanical completion with minimal rework’’
