Project Description:This project involved the Electrical Services Shell & Core Installations for an Office & Commercial development of Block C1 5-6 Hanover Quay, Dublin 2.​

The development consisted of 7 floors of office space over one level of basement car parking. There were also extensive site services works to the surrounding street level for incoming utilities and new public lighting scheme.

Suir Engineering were responsible for the following works carried out as part of the Shell & Core contract. The electrical engineering systems comprised of but were not limited to the following:

New MV distribution switchgear ​, New cast resin transformers ​, New main LV switchgear​, New life safety generator Installation ​, New electrical containment systems ​, New installation of general services ​, New computer based central internal and external addressable KNX Lighting Control system​, New computer based central maintenance and monitoring system in order to carry out the testing of the single point self-contained addressable Emergency Lighting system​, New addressable fire alarm system​, New disabled toilet alarm system​, New Category 6A structured cabling installation, New lightning protection, earthing and bonding and New Security System.

The One Building for ESB International – Dublin Airport

One Dublin Airport Central is a former 1960s office building that has been completely transformed by the DAA.The award-winning building, which is the first phase in the Dublin Airport Central development, now houses approximately 500 ESB International staff.

Suir Engineering carried out the complete Mechanical services installation for the 5 story over basement building (7,400sq.m) The ESB International Fit-Out is a combination of open plan offices, cellular offices, large conference rooms and canteen spaces.

Ikea are a supplier of home furnishings with 315 stores in 27 countries.

This retail project was one of Irelands largest shops floors. The site was established on the old crushing yard footprint in Ballymun is approximately 90,000 m2.

Suir Engineering was responsible for the complete electrical installation works, which included HV & MV services, standby generator, UPS, general services, IT systems, security systems, protective services, mechanical wiring, testing & commissioning.

Bioware Ireland Fit Out, Galway

BioWare, a division of EA Games develops high quality console, PC and online role-playing games. The BioWare Ireland studio is a customer centre of excellence and network operations centre located in Galway, which will service Europe and North America.

This project consisted of the electrical and mechanical fit out of the existing industrial premises in Parkmore, Galway for BioWare Ireland Ltd, with associated car parking and site works. The gross floor area for this scheme was approx. 3,200 sq. m

Bank of Ireland – Burlington Plaza

This project involved the Electrical services installation for a fit-out Contract at Burlington Plaza 2. In total, the area of floors included within our scope of fit out work amounted to circa 7,000 m2 .

The fit-out works included connecting to existing primary distribution services on each floor. The fire, security and access control systems were extended to cover to the fit-out areas.
A complete new lighting system was installed on each floor along with power and data to each desk. Power and data were run under the raised access floor and up through floor grommets into each desk.

A CAT 6A structured cabling system was installed throughout the building. Each level was cabled back to a local server room with the main comms room located on the ground floor being linked by fibre and multicore copper cables. The main comms room has fire suppression, water leak detection and UPS protection.
