    Christmas Jumper Day

    We are spreading the festive cheer this holiday season by organising a Christmas Jumper Day on December 15th. This delightful event is not just about wearing your most festive and quirky sweaters but also carries a heart warming purpose – it’s all in aid of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SVP).

    It’s a wonderful opportunity for the Suir Engineering family to come together, celebrate the season, and make a positive impact on the lives of those in need. We are calling on all Suir Engineering employees to help us give a little extra to those in need this Christmas.

    Movemeber 

    Movember is an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness for men’s health issues such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer and men’s suicide.

    We’ve decided to bring all Suir Engineering sites together with the challenge of growing a Moustache to raise funds for the Irish Cancer Society this year.

    The Suir Way Cycle 

    The Suir Way cycle will take place on Friday, July 21st. EHS Manager and cycling enthusiast , Colum Costello has put together a spectacular route along the Copper Coast in Waterford totaling 88km’s. We encourage employees to scan the QR code to check out the route and to email wellbeing@suireng.ie to register your interest.

     

     

    Darkness into Light 2023

    Darkness into Light will take place on May 6th. We ask all Suir Engineering employees taking part in Darkness into Light to fundraise using the dedicated Suir Engineering fundraiser link provided vis email. We encourage teams to take part and to discuss with your work colleagues on site and in offices where the most suitable organised location is for you. Please send pictures to wellbeing@suireng.ie for Newsletters and Social Media purposes. 

     

     

    National Workplace Wellbeing Day 

    The Industry celebrates Workplace Wellbeing Day on May 28th. Suir Engineering encourages you to sign up to Wellbeing Classes of your choice and to get your work colleagues involved in the same classes. A number of sites and offices will also host a Coffee Morning in recognition of each employees hard work over the course of the past year or more.

     

     

    Fantasy Football League 

    Suir Engineering will run our very own Fantasy Football League for the 2022/23 premier league season. 

     

    •  €10 entry by Revolut. 
    • Simply transfer to katiebtc or post your €10 to the Waterford office. 
    • All instructions / terms and conditions can be found on the attached poster. Please follow carefully to join the Suir League.
    All employees are welcome to join. 

     

    Summer Events

    Suir Engineering will host a series of Summer Events on all sites and offices in July and August. 

    All events will be organised by a dedicated coordinator on your site where you can expect a BBQ, Food Van, Breakfast Rolls, Pizza’s and more. Keep an eye out for your site and office event date coming soon! 

     

    Sun Set Swim in Aid of Suicide Prevention

    Suir Engineering will organise a company wide sunset swim in September to fundraise for Samaritans Ireland in aid of Suicide Prevention week.

    We dare you to take a dip in the sea with friends, family or your work collegues to support the cause. You can choose your location or join one of our dedicated Suir Engineering Swim’s.
